KYQHA BIF MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
ATTENTION: POTENTIAL KyQHA BREEDERS’ INCENTIVE FUND AWARD WINNERS MAKE SURE YOUR KYQHA AND AQHA MEMBERSHIPS ARE CURRENT!!
To be eligible for a KyQHA BIF award, EVERY owner, breeder, and/or nominator of a foal or a sire of any KyQHA BIF eligible horse MUST be a member in good standing of BOTH the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and the Kentucky Quarter Horse Association (KYQHA) no later than July 1st of the year in which that award is to be paid.
For example, for any AQHA points earned in 2019, the potential award recipient must be a 2020 AQHA and KyQHA member in good standing as of July 1, 2020.
AQHA membership numbers MUST MATCH exactly as recorded on horse’s COR for owners, breeders, foal nominators, stallion owners and stallion nominators.
Failure to comply with this requirement will cause awards to be forfeited.
